DJ’d for the band Millionaires
Foreign Warren recently performed as the DJ for the group Millionaires during their sets at When We Were Young 2024, including their opening slot for the festival’s sideshow at Brooklyn Bowl Vegas. More than a decade earlier, his first collaboration with the Millionaires was Drinks On Me, remixed under his previous duo name, The Knuckledusters.
Viral Videos
Separate from his main music and DJ projects, one of the most memorable aspects of Warren’s career is his unexpected viral success with meme-style remixes. His best-known clip is the “Yah Yah Yah” edit of Migos’ Bad & Boujee, which exploded online in 2017.
Uploaded to his YouTube channel, the remix quickly passed five million views and became a cultural moment of its own. It spread across social platforms and was even highlighted by major publications like GQ.com and Noisey by Vice. Jake Woolf of GQ described it as “awful, and yet, like watching a car crash video on YouTube, painfully captivating,” a reaction many viewers shared.
Beyond that single edit, Warren’s other EDM meme remixes stood out because he understood internet humor while still keeping a musical core. The “Yah Yah Yah” moment opened the door to wider exposure, even though he hasn’t created a meme remix video since 2017.
Local Gigs:
A standout performance was at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA, where he DJ’d their New Year’s Eve celebration in 2019. With its ocean backdrop and lively crowd, the event gave Warren a chance to shine in a setting that felt different from traditional club shows.
In 2017, he also played a quirky booking at Matador in Fullerton, CA. The club flyer even promoted his meme remixes as part of the appeal, leaning into his internet reputation. Clips from that night later landed on his YouTube channel, adding to his body of content that blends humor, performance, and electronic music.
From 2021 to 2023, Warren served as the main booker for Huntington Beach Beer Company, curating weekly DJ lineups for the venue. That role expanded his presence in the Southern California music scene, showing he’s not just a performer but someone who helps shape local talent rosters.
Revisiting The Knuckledusters: A Nostalgic Release
In 2024, Warren brought back three tracks originally produced under his former duo, The Knuckledusters—a project with his brother—and released them on streaming platforms under his current name, Foreign Warren. The collection, The Knuckledusters Trilogy, offers a nostalgic return to their early “big room house” sound and gives fans a chance to hear material that never had an official release.
The tracks highlight Warren’s ability to bridge earlier influences with his current direction. They also underline his evolution as an artist, proving that his earlier work still connects with longtime followers as well as new listeners discovering him for the first time.
DJing at Warped Tour 2025
Foreign Warren officially performed all three dates of the 2025 Vans Warped Tour as the touring DJ for the Millionaires. Along with handling their live DJ duties, he also stepped onstage with a keytar, adding an extra layer of energy to their sets. This run continued his long-standing collaboration with the band and marked a memorable moment in their shared performance history.
